Lover's Bridge

Dunster Castle, England. A historic castle from the Middle Ages. The magical garden paths in the spring give way to Mediterranean and subtropical plants. Lover's Bridge is found off the Mill Walk on the backside of the castle. My son and I explored all the paths we could find in the gardens and came upon this bridge that seemed to house generations of stories. 

During our 6 years in England we had an annual membership to the National Trust. Trust sites throughout England never failed to provide an idyllic walk, a cuppa, and some ice cream or a sandwich if you must.  My family explored all throughout England on family trips to more common vacation spots but found ourselves always stopping at a National Trust Site to break up the drives. 

We happened upon Dunster, England on the way home from April Break.  The town of Dunster had a unique High Street lined with historic looking buildings, including a Yarn Market an octagonal building that was originally used for trade of cloth and wool. We only had a couple of hours and wished we could have spent more time.
